When I first saw the trailer for A Wrinkle in Time I knew I just had to see it. Peyton, on the other hand, was a little more hesitant. Peyton thought there were parts of the movie that was a little too dark for her but I had a feeling she would love this movie. So I kept coaxing her. And when the day of the screening arrived she agreed to go! So now, I'm going to share both of our thoughts on A Wrinkle in Time, without any spoilers. We both agreed this was a great family film but intended ...

Enjoy Thor: Ragnarok Like It’s Meant to Be Seen
When we moved last year I went through and upgraded all of our televisions. One of the big things I treated myself to was a 55-inch 4k television. It was a serious upgrade from the 36-inch tube television we had been watching. A HUGE upgrade. Instantly I could tell the difference. The picture was much larger and it was crisp! It was as if I was having a movie theater experience in our own living room! Now, when new movies come out, we only watch them in our family room. Today, Thor: Ragnarok ...
Creating Family Memories with Lady and the Tramp
Lady and the Tramp is one of the first movies I remember from my childhood. It was also one of my favorites. I LOVED the scene with the Siamese cats, singing and taunting Lady. I could have sat and watched that part over and over when I was little. Now, fast forward, I have a little girl and 2 German Shepherds of my own. Lady and the Tramp has been brought out of the Disney Vault for a little while and I intend on enjoying this Disney Classic with my family. Tonight, I am watching Lady and ...
Bring Home Coco and Celebrate Family
Peyton only recently saw Coco, we were lucky to catch it on its final weekend in theaters. Life is just always so crazy around the holidays. But I'm glad I was able to take her and see it. She instantly fell in love with Dante and Miguel. The music was a major hit too. And all those colors! Peyton couldn't get enough of the movie and is super excited for it to be released tomorrow. I'm sure I'll be at Target, first thing, 8 am picking up a copy of the film for her. I've already rented it a few ...
Bring The Star Home Today
I took Peyton to see The Star a few months ago and she loved it. It's a clever twist on the birth of Jesus told through the eyes of the animals. And kids love it! It may not be Christmas time but the story is one that will resonate throughout the year. There are many values being expressed throughout the story that should be practiced year round, not just at Christmas. With Easter right around the corner, The Star would make a great Easter Basket stuffer. The lead character in The ...
Bad Moms are Back!
I remember the first time I saw Bad Moms in the theater. I laughed so hard! There were so many parts of the movie that I could relate to. The psycho PTA president at her kid's school, the different types of moms you come across and more. But what I really loved is how it was all delivered with humor! Us moms could use more humor in our lives. We need to laugh more and really enjoy ourselves, remember that we are more than moms. We are women that need to let loose and not lose ourselves in our ...
