There's a new attraction out at the Mall of America! Peyton and I just had to go check out Fly Over America. It's located inside of Nickelodeon Universe between the Peeps Company and Hard Rock Cafe. I would say it's more of an attraction than a ride. Fly Over America does take a little while to go through and enjoy so I would set aside about a half hour for the experience. If there's a line, plan on spending more time. When you first arrive to Fly Over America, you'll stop at a ticket counter ...

The Tiny Traveler Italy
A tiny board book for tiny little hands! The Tiny Traveler is a series of board books about various destinations around the world. In this Tiny Traveler book we are learning about Italy! This is a very simple board book perfect for little ones learning how to count. I chose to review the Italy version because we have a family member heading to Italy later this year and I thought what a great way for the kids to relate to their grandmother's travels. Each set of pages has a number with a ...
American Girl Bistro
Peyton is at the age where all things American Girl is thrilling. Every time we head out to the Mall of America, she insist we make a stop at the American Girl store. Well, today I surprised her with a late lunch in the American Girl Bistro! This is our second visit to the bistro. Typically reservations are needed. Going to the Mall of America is usually a last minute decision so I never try for them. But today we were going to try a walk up reservation since we were eating at 2 pm. And it ...
Bad Moms
Have you made it out to see Bad Moms? If not, I highly suggest you make some time and do it now! Bad Moms is a hilarious comedy about motherhood and how we, mothers, do way too much. I've seen it once but I'm already thinking about going back and seeing it again. It was that good. At the start of Bad Moms we meet Amy, Mila Kunis. Amy is a real go getter. She works outside the home, car pools her two kids, makes them breakfast and basically runs the household. She is a mom that does it all. ...
I Love You Just Because
Just because it's summer we don't slack off on reading. It's important to read to your child for at least 20 minutes a day. I know it can be hard and I know sometimes kids can fight you when it comes time to sit down and read. But a trick I've found is, a good book will always hook them. And if the pictures are colorful it also helps. I Love You Just Because is full of beautifully illustrated pages that will draw young children in. I Love You Just Because is the perfect book for preschooler ...
One Big Turkey
I know we are in summer. So talking about turkeys and fall may seem a little premature. But summer is coming to an end. Peyton starts school in three weeks! The fair is starting soon. Which means, fall is right around the corner. One Big Turkey by Anne Vittur Kennedy lets us follow the adventures of One Big Turkey and all his silly friends as Thanksgiving draws near. One Big Turkey is in board book shape format, which I love for little ones. The book is cut out in a shape of a giant turkey! ...
