Peyton and I are in the Chicago area at least every other month. But I don’t want to invest in an I-Pass because I don’t need it in Minnesota. And Illinois is really the only place that we travel that has toll roads. But stopping at all those toll roads adds on travel time. That’s… [Continue Reading]

Our Travel Adventure with WaterWipes

Chemical Free Baby Wipes

This post was sponsored by WaterWipes as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own. Even though Peyton is out of diapers I still use WaterWipes on a daily basis. There are so many uses beyond the traditional diaper changing routine. We took WaterWipes with us on vacation last week and I found myself using them all the time. While waiting for our plane to arrive, Peyton had a snack. When Peyton was finished her hands were sticky and ...

Carter’s Pajamas Buy One Give One

Many of Peyton's PJs came from carters. From the day I brought her home from the hospital till today she has been kept cozy in Carter's PJs. Did you know that today (November 29th) is #GivingTuesday? I have partnered with Bloggin' Mamas and Carter’s to promote Giving Tuesday, a pro-social movement that encourages manufacturers and other participants to support charitable giving on the first Saturday after Thanksgiving. This year marks Carter’s first Pajama Program for Giving Tuesday. ...

Every Child Loves to Rock

Rockabye Rockers

Rocking is a natural motion we all do. Think about it, your natural instinct kicks in when you are holding a baby and you rock. Sometimes it's side to side, other times it's back and forth.  Babies love it! Everyone loves to rock, no matter what age they are. But as babies get older and turn into toddlers it becomes a little harder to hold them and rock. But they still want to rock! And they are also exploring their independence so they don't want you to rock them. They want to rock themselves! ...

I’ll Huff and I’ll Puff and I’ll Blow Your House Down

Tactic Games 3 Little Pigs

Game night is the norm at my house. I think it's a great way to get the kids off the electronics and interact with the family. Tonight we played 3 Little Pigs. The suggested age is 4 years old and up. But I had a 3-year-old play and he did just fine.  The game can have 2-3 players but if you have more kids just make teams. I thought the game was a fun twist on the story of the 3 Little Pigs. Everyone starts out with a green stand piece. Then you have to roll the dice. Each side of the dice ...

Moana is Now in Theaters!

Peyton and I have been anxiously awaiting the release of Moana. The wait is OVER! Moana opened nationwide today at theaters everywhere. We were fortunate enough to have seen the movie last week and I have been dying to share our thoughts with you. But I couldn't, until today. Moana is awesome! Peyton gave it two thumbs up. I do have one warning, this is a longer movie. I believe it runs just shy of 2 hours. So with that being said, be sure your child can sit through it. And you may want to ...
