Unforgettable

Unforgettable

Are you looking for a thriller to see this weekend? I saw Unforgettable and loved it. Yes, the storyline has been done before. But who cares? These actors did a great job giving the story life with a twist all their own.  The way I judge a movie is - Did I lose myself in it? Did I feel invested in the characters? Did I want to scream at the screen and give advice? Yes, Yes and Yes. If I can answer yes to those questions then I feel it is a good movie and something I would suggest my friends and ...

Ditch The Oil With These Grease-Free Cooking Tips

Crispy Chicken with Mashed Potato and Spicy Collard Greens Blue Apron

A Look Back of My First Week on Nutrisystem

Nutrisystem Turbo Takeoff

Well, I did it. I survived my first week on Nutrisystem. Well, it really was my Turbo Week on Nutrisystem. Let me tell you, it can be a rough time. That Turbo Week is no joke. But the results are AMAZING! There were moments where I wanted to throw in the towel and dive into a bag of french fries or fried chicken. But I didn't. I stayed strong. And then I looked at how I ended up in those moments of feeling like I was going to go on a huge calorie fest and destroy all my hard work. You know what? ...

Tweens and Car Seat Safety

Seat Belt Safety

It was easy to make sure Peyton was in a seatbelt when she was younger. The 5 point harness car seats made it easy to know she was secure. Now that she's bigger it's still important to know she is secure. She's out of the 5 point harness and in a booster seat. Peyton also like to be independent and buckle her own seatbelt. Since I'm not the one buckling her in any longer I try to do bi-weekly checks on the fit of her booster to ensure it still fits her and does not need any ...
