It’s Hard to be Good

Having a young child at home makes life interesting. Now toss in a few cats and dogs and we have a down right circus! Ellie the Wiener Dog is the star of It's Hard to be Good. And Ellie reminds me a lot of our dogs and my daughter. In It's Hard to be Good Ellie is trying to control her impulses. A Day in My Life – Part 3

It's been a crazy day! But now I'm at my very first PR cocktail party and I'm pretty stoked. I have no clue what to expect and I'm a little nervous. Plus, I've just realized these boots are KILLING my feet. But I power on. I walk through the lobby of the hotel and happen upon my hostesses. They are so nice!! We chit chat for a while and they send me up in the elevator to the event. So far this is pretty swanky. I'm used to chauffeuring my daughter around to dance lessons and swim class. Not ...

A Day in My Life – Part 2

Well after the whirlwind of the morning I am exhausted! I normally don't stop for coffee but this morning I must. And my drink of choice?? Caribou's milk chocolate turtle mocha. If the caffeine doesn't work all the sugar should! But if I do need a pick me up I always go the Caribou by my office. They have the nicest barista! I just love her to pieces. Even though I only come in every so often she knows me and my drink. I really enjoy our morning banter. Now I have my coffee and it's time to ...

The Good Dinosaur

Last week Peyton and I went to a sneak peak of The Good Dinosaur. And I must say I have mixed emotions about the movie. On one hand I thought the animation was beautiful but on the other hand I felt like the ending was extremely unsatisfactory. I did not feel it was tied up nicely. It's like the writer just stopped, went for a coffee and never came back to finish it off. So what's the story line? Arlo, The Good Dinosaur, and his family live on a farm, Arlo's family consist of himself, 2 older ...
